THE CHALLENGE
Create an intuitive platform for pharmaceutical manufacturers to analyze invoice reporting in order to gain greater insight into their marketplace. These insights would range from invoicing trends, rebate trends, top drugs, and regional demographics for their drug informing tools. That information would be beneficial for present and future negotiations with insurance companies.
Initially, this platform was white labeled for both Ascent Health and Express Scripts. The UX & UI would have to account for six different personas. Also, the platform would have to integrate with Tableau and eventually Business Objects in order to pull the Pharma invoicing data.

HOW IT STARTED
INITIAL RESEARCH
THE DESIGN
I completely redesigned the dashboard’s interface and used the navigation’s drawer as the section of the design that would help distinguish between Ascent Health and Express Scripts brands. I chose to use nature images as the theme for the Pharma Web Portal.

DASHBOARD
LOGIN SCREEN
One of the challenges I encountered was that both Ascent & Express Script users had to utilize the same login page, and therefore, I would not be able to use either company logo. To make the login page agonistic, I created a logo for the Pharma Web Portal. Despite some resistance, I was able to persuade both marketing departments to approve it.
